Dive Kaua`i Scuba Center, 1038 Kuhio Highway, 808-822-0452, www.divekauai.com, has all of the gear you need. You can rent tanks, wetsuits, weight belts and much more. They offer introductory shore dives
for $105 (one-tank dive) and $140 (two-tank dive). If you’re already certified, they have shore dives and boat dives starting at $90. They also do night dives and offer PADI certification courses.

If you have your own equipment or you want to get in the water, Lydgate State Park offers decent diving. There are better places throughout the island, but if you’re confined to the east side, this is an option.
