True Blue Charters has a whale-watching tour during whale season for $59 per person. They also bring a marine naturalist on board to help narrate the tours.

Lahela Ocean Adventures, 808-635-4020, will take you out on their 34-foot Lahela sport fishing boat for a two-hour private whale-watching excursion. The boat holds up to six passengers and costs $299.

Captain Don’s Sportfishing, www.captaindonsfishing.com, 808-639-3012, offers a 2½-hour whale-watching tour for $325 or $75 per person on shared trips. Captain Don will go where the whales go, so you won’t miss a thing.
